Construction Error

Definition​

A Construction Error means that Teststep data is missing or not correctly structured. A construction error needs to be solved before the respective test can be executed.

Construction Errors inside a Test Configuration or in the Test Settings are indicated by the "" icon.

Properties​

Message​

The descriptive error message for the Construction Error.

Element​

The element that the Construction Error is associated with, for example, a Teststep.

Actions​

View Construction Errors​

  • Navigate to the relevant Test Configuration.
  • Navigate to Construction Errors.
  • A list of Construction Errors is shown including the element that it relates to.

Solve Construction Errors​

  • A Construction Error contains a message that describes how it should be fixed.
  • A Construction Error related to a Teststep has a Solve button that will lead to the page where it can be fixed.
