Accelerated AI Workspace setup

Purpose

This document describes how to use the Agentic Testing Workspace Github repostitory to quickly get started with AI assisted testing with standalone AI assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cline, or Antigravity / Gemini.

It is not applicable when using Mendix Maia, because Studio Pro will analyze the model. If you specifically want to connect Mendix Maia, checkout the Mendix documentation at: https://docs.mendix.com/refguide/maia-mcp/

Setup

• Create a new empty directory on your machine that will be used for the AI Workspace. Do not use an existing (Mendix project) folder.
• In this directory, clone the Github repository or create a new repository using https://github.com/Menditect/agentic-test-workspace
• Right-click on the agentic-test-workspace folder in Windows Explorer and choose Open in Terminal.
• Type npm run setup (Enter) and follow the steps in the Wizard.
